Welcome to the Bum Life. (again)

School’s (almost) out! YAY! πŸ™‚ Early vacation for us! πŸ™‚ And now, all I can think of is SUMMER VACATION! πŸ™‚ The heat is in and I can’t stop imagining (and planning) activities for summer! πŸ˜› Although I still need to do a lot of things, because after our graduation, I’ll be enrolling again for another (higher) degree, that’s why I can’t make concrete plans yet. :\

Plus, the fact that the school year is nearly ending, I HAVE TO SAVE MONEY! I’ll be a bum for the next two months, I won’t be receiving Β my allowance regularly. I’m thinking of getting a job, but you have to be on that job for at least six months, that’s why I’m looking for an dependableΒ online job enough to help me earn money for the next few months. I’ll be studying again for the next school year, that’s why I can’t apply for a “real” job. An online job is what I need. πŸ™‚

On the lighter note, I can now focus on my blogs since I have all the time for it! πŸ™‚ the only problem that I might encounter is “Writer’s block”. You know, that (shitty) moment in a blogger’s life, where he/she ran out of creative juices and does not have any idea what to post for his/her blog. I hope I can do more blog posts for the next few days! πŸ˜› I might be doing a book review or a movie review, but a book review sounds better. πŸ˜›

How about you? Do you have any plans for vacation? What do you usually do to make your vacation worthwhile? and oh, can you suggest a good book to read? please? πŸ™‚

Pain before pleasure. No pain, no gain. You have to be a tough cookie, or else you’ll be eaten.

Those are are the three mantras that I keep in mind whenever I experience pain and hardship, both physically and emotionally. I’ve been through a lot lately, and I’ve been very busy. I even have to crave for some “Alone Time”. Haha.

Can you still recall that awesome feeling that you felt after finishing all of your tasks? That’s what I’m feeling right now! Finally! I’m done! I’m just hoping that the results will be good. πŸ™‚

I have to say the cliche that I never thought I could get through every thing that I went through for the past years of my life. Haha. It is really true, that pains comes first before pleasure.

One of my professors once told us, “No pain, no gain”. And yeah, shit just got real! He gave us PAIN during our exams. Almost all of us are mentally distorted after the exam. Haha. But really, I’ll never forget that mantra! That’ll be in my heart forever. πŸ™‚

It is hard to live in a world of predators. Either they’ll eat you or they’ll destroy you. I don’t deny the fact that I’m a predator too. I have to be one. Or else, I’ll die! πŸ™‚ Putting aside the exaggerations, I was writing a term paper (I forgot what subject was that for) and I was looking for a sentence to finish or to summarize every thing that I wrote. so I came up with “You have to be a tough cookie, or else you’ll be eaten“. I’m not sure what came up to me, I’m not even sure if that sentence has a substance. πŸ˜› But it works in real life. If you’re surrounded by “negative people”, there is no room for you to be weak. πŸ™‚

Life Exams

As much as I want to blog, here comes Ýthe exams of my life. This month, I’ll be facing 3 exams of my life. First, is our midterm exams. It will determine what kind of grades I’ll be having (which will be in my credentials, by the way). I really want to have high scores and I really need to pass. Though I only have four subjects to focus on, some of my professors are giving me loads of things to do. Henceforth, so far so good. πŸ™‚

Next, is the entrance exam for a school where I want to finish a higher degree. I chose not to tell you guys the name of the school. Haha. Sorry about that. Maybe I will, if I passed the entrance exam. I’ll just give you a clue! This one school (in the PHL) that is known for their LL.B. and J.D. πŸ™‚ I really want to pass the entrance exam because that school gives VERY high quality education at a very affordable price, unlike its competitors. πŸ˜› Instead of having a job after my Bachelor’s Degree, I want to study again, but I can’t erase the urge that I want to help my parents too. So the least that I can do for them is to go to an excellent institution that offers low prices.

Lastly, I’ll be having a test for survival. In one of my subjects, we will be having our immersion. We will be living in an environment that is out of our elements and we will be given some assignments or activities to finish. We’ll be staying there for 7 days. Therefore, no electricity, no water supply within reach, no internet, no comfort, no “good life”, no luxury, no food supply within reach for 7 days. Not that I can’t live without it, it’s just I’m not yet prepared for it. I’ll be sacrificing a lot, I guess. But I know it’ll be totally worth it. Haha. πŸ™‚

Gaaah! Too much tests for this month, I guess. So forgive me if in case I won’t be able to update this blog for a very long time. I just need time to prepare for my “Life Exams”. πŸ™‚

Item of the Day: Benefit’s BADgal kohl pencil.

Brand Name: Benefit

Product Name: BadGal Kohl Pencil (Smoldering Black Eye Pancil)

Price (indicated in their website): US$20.00

Price (I payed when I bought the product): PHP300 or approximately US$7.00 – US$8.00. (Cheaper, eh?)Β  :highfive:

Color: Jet Black

  • Packaging – 5 out of 5. I love the posh and chic look of the box and the eyeliner itself!
  • Usage – 5 out of 5. There is no need for second coat. πŸ˜›
  • Size – 4 out of 5. This one is a thick eyeliner. You can’t just put is in a very small purse. If you have a small make-up pouch, this product consumes more space unlike those typical eyeliners.

Why did I bought this product?:

Honestly, I was searching for an eyeliner. Any brand would do, as long as it’s not fake and the manufacturer is reliable and known when it comes to cosmetics. Now, I asked my friend who has a neighbor that sells cosmetics. I told her that I need a new eyeliner, since my old eyeliner is getting smaller and smaller. So, after few weeks, my friend finally handed this product to me. We were both amazed by the size and the design of this product since we both use those thin eyeliners.

Would I buy this again: ABSOLUTELY! πŸ™‚

This is my first time to use a product from Benefit. And, I am impressed! πŸ™‚ I’m looking forward to use more of their products!

So how about you? Do you use and/or like eyeliners? What brand do you use?

Have you ever used a product from Benefit? What was it? How was it?
